Pink cosmos blossoms brighten a dense fog settling across a low prairie near Hoover Reservoir on a cool October morning. Recent plantings near the lake to help prevent erosion and help with water mitigation included a series of native wildflowers and shrubs. The cosmos flowers are among the most colorful of the varieties planted and look especially bright contrasted against the cool fog.
Prints, both large format and smaller prints, will be available in The Gardiner Gallery at Java Central in November.
